FLORIDA KEYS INFORMATION:
As we are sure you are aware, on September 10th, Hurricane Irma wrecked havoc over Florida (as we call her Irmageddon) especially southern Florida and the Florida Keys in general. We, at the Jack Roysdon Memorial Foundation, have a huge tie to the Florida Keys and want to help those in need.
We want to help them rebuild and get back to more normalcy in their lives, and you can help us do that. Go to SUPPORT THE KEYS #keysstrong tab and either make a donation or you can purchase a sticker, bracelet or t-shirt. 100% of the proceeds will go to those in the Keys to help them either with daily living needs or to start the rebuilding process.
Stay Strong, Stay Keysey #keysstrong
We will be heading south to help those in need. If you wish to donate water, towels, cleaning supplies, generators, blankets, bleach, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, socks, underwear, bug spray, baby wipes, gloves, duct tape, tarps, canned goods...please let me know. Feel free to drop them by the house, or if you are in a state on our way down, we can stop by. We are in this together and will get through this together. We are... One Human Family.
The Jack Roysdon Memorial
Foundation is a non-profit organization that was created in 2012 in memory of, Jack Roysdon, who passed in January of that year.
Jack was a retired Army Chief
Warrant Officer III who was deployed on several tours. He served his country
for over 40 years as an active military officer, who then continued his service
with over 20 years of civilian duty as the Chief of Academic Records.
During his personal time, he
served our community with helping start the Optimist Club sports at the local
school, helping the homeless and other veterans with daily living needs. Everyone
that knew him, knew him for his generosity and his love of family and friends.
He was truly the man who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off
In order to keep his memory alive and continue the service he provided to the
community, we started the foundation on May 5, 2012—his birthday.
we have been able
to assist veterans in need of daily living necessities, help numerous
homeless individuals and adopt families throughout the year to help with
monthly bills, medical expenses and holiday gifts/food.
year we hold a benefit dinner and auction to raise money to be able to keep the
foundation going. Due to the generous sponsors that we obtain, we are able to
put 100% of the funds raised during this event, back into the community.
Fortunately, we have had great success with the foundation and with your help,
we could make this, the 5 year, the best and most successful one
If you know someone who could use assistance, please send us a message in the Big Heart~Helping Hands section with the information.
Please support both of these doctors, as they are supporting our community.
