BIG HEART ~ HELPING HANDS - Making a Difference Together

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 The JRMF has created a Be Kind Initiative-Making a Difference Together!
With donations, we have been able to get a bus that we will pack full of school supplies to take to the schools who are participating in the Be Kind Initiative, as well as pack it with presents to deliver this holiday season.
If you wish to donate school supplies, please let me know.
We will be posting info about the Christmas drive soon.
There are many other things we are doing with the Be Kind Initiative as well. We are working on a benefit show, bringing in motivational speakers and other events to raise awareness and provide education.
Thank you for your continued support. Click on the Benefit Show Goal Status tab on the left to see where we are with reaching our goal.
We are currently raising funds to bring in a Nashville Recording Artist to perform a benefit show. If you wish to help us reach the goal to cover their fee, please click on the TICKETS AND DONATION tab on the left.
The Jack Roysdon Memorial Foundation is an organization that was created in 2012 in memory of, Jack Roysdon, who passed in January of that year. Jack was a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer III who was deployed on several tours. He served his country for over 40 years as an active military officer, who then continued his service with over 20 years of civilian duty as the Chief of Academic Records.
During his personal time, he served our community with helping start the Optimist Club sports at the local school, helping the homeless and other veterans with daily living needs. Everyone that knew him, knew him for his generosity and his love of family and friends. He was truly the man who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back.
In order to keep his memory alive and continue the service he provided to the community, we started the foundation on May 5, 2012—his birthday.
Since 2012, we have been able to assist veterans in need of daily living necessities, help numerous homeless individuals and adopt families throughout the year to help with monthly bills, medical expenses and holiday gifts/food.
Each year we hold a benefit dinner and auction to raise money to be able to keep the foundation going. Due to the generous sponsors that we obtain, we are able to put 100% of the funds raised during this event, back into the community. Fortunately, we have had great success with the foundation and with your help, we could make this, the 5 year, the best and most successful one yet.
If you know someone who could use assistance, please send us a message in the Big Heart~Helping Hands section with the information.
